Your Role
The Mechanical Reliability Engineering Intern will be responsible for developing Reliability Strategies for critical rotating machinery and implementing the strategies. The role will also be responsible for preliminary design and scope development of future projects in the plant. The role will also take part in Root Cause Analysis for mechanical equipment failures as well as the development of Pi Screens
You Will
Working with the operations and maintenance team daily to learn and understand how the plant operates
Driving the continuous improvement of maintenance systems through development of criticality-based equipment strategies and route development including preventative maintenance and condition monitoring
Working with the team to help lead reliability data analysis efforts
Participate in Root Cause Analysis for mechanical equipment failures
Performs other duties as needed

You Have
Completed at least 1 semester of their 3rd year in an accredited Mechanical Engineer program, and have excelled in the following courses:
Thermodynamics
Statics
Dynamics, Circuits/Mechatronics
Solid Mechanics and Machine Design
An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties and responsibilities
