Job Summary

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for administrative duties supporting the purchasing department, primarily supporting our OC1 plant located in Hallam, Nebraska. 

You will

  • Create and update purchase orders (PO) including the ability to take a standard set of information and turn it into a PO, circulate for approvals, and provide the PO to the vendor.
  • Assist department with invoice resolution, reporting, services, contracts, contract amendments and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Establish and maintain recordkeeping system for purchasing department.
  • Ensure that purchasing documents are complete, accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain pricing histories and other vendor records.
  • Provide administrative support to the department.     
  • Coordinate and prioritizes with department managers duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

You have

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 or 4-year degree in Accounting, Business or related field, preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience, or
  • an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties and responsibilities.
  • ERP experience
  • High attention to details and accuracy.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • An ability to determine timelines, prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and evolving environment with grit, passion and perseverance.

Your work Environment

Your role is located in Hallam, Nebraska at Monolith’s OC1 plant.
